Day Two..The End!

Well I got my work out clothes on, had 2 apples for something in my tummy and took a drive over to Brooke's. It was nice leaving at 3 today NO TRAFFIC at all, what a relief!

I am sore as hell today so it feels better to take the Lexus since I don't have to pour myself in and out of it like I do with the Mustang. I get to Brooke's I have a key, and I still go to the front door and knock on her door...weird right? Oh well!

We lay around waiting for her pants to get out of the dryer and we're so not motivated to go, the bad part is we are already skipping tomorrow to celebrate Cinco De Mayo, and yes we are both white girls, but hey, we like to party :)

Brooke says "I can very easily be convinced not to go" Which I wanted to tempt her so we didn’t have to go, but really we're not gonna get anywhere if we don't go and stick to it as best as we can. Plus the point of both of us going is to motivate each other not talk each other out of it. Although, we are both very convincing :)

We took her vert today since it was nice out and not overly hot. Got to the gym and got down to it. Mike turned on the fans today so I didn't feel like I was going to die, that was a nice change. Always starts out the same, we get stretched, I was still a bit sore from yesterday, but it didn't hurt as bad as the first time he stretched me out. There was a gal in there who just worked out, she was nice and we got to talking about her workouts and results and all of that. Her name is Deanna, super sweet gal!

Today we did a routine on the machines, squats, squats, lifting weights, squats with weights. Each one 15 reps, and we did the circuit 3 times. I felt pretty good about getting through it, the squats are a little hard for me. I've got a long way to go down, damn long legs. Brooke is a Rock Star she powers through it. I'm so proud of her!

Then we got to take a weighted ball and swing it from our side to this dummy's face. 20 reps on each side! It was a nice way to release some tension on that man. BALL IN YOUR FACE! Booo-yea!! Brooke and I had in our minds who it was!

Abs time! Brooke went first; I cooled down and got some water. We do two sets of 10/20 reps. the first set we touch his shoulders while he sits on our feet. The second set we reach up to touch his hands. Brooke felt like she tore something today after giving it her all. I feel for her, abdomen pain is the worst! I got through the reps without much of an issue. I had Mike stretch my back out too since I felt a weird discomfort in my lower back while doing the sit-ups. It looks funny as hell when he stretches out my back, he even said "It’s gonna look weird if someone walks in here and sees this" I had my legs up to my chest and he had all of his weight on my legs pushing my back. It felt awesome when he was done!

Arms!! This is Brooke's favorite, and my least. I favor the abs work out. We do sets of 40. We line up like some 90's work out, in front of the mirror and get to it. This time we had some tunes. We did 40 reps with weights, arms out, in front, boxing motion and up in the air.

Back to the Ball! I hate squats! My bum is already feeling the burn from yesterday. I go first, its 15 reps with weights in our hands, then 10 with the weights in the air. I am hesitant again to drop my bum on that ball; it’s that whole trust issue! I get to about 8 and I am tired. I get to 13, struggle through the last 2 I'm feeling my legs get weak. Now to the 10 in the air. I get to about 4 and want to quit. Brooke & Deanna cheer me on, and I get through it. They were right, I could do it, and I DID!

Brooke again is an all star! No problems, no bitching, no negating, she just does it. I need to adapt that work out attitude.

Abs again! This time 50. 10 touching shoulders, 10 to each side and 20 up in the air. I had a little bit of a hard time about mid way through, but I am happy to report I completed them!

Stretches! I got completely stretched out again, and had him do my back one more time and I felt great after this work out. I did it, I pushed through it, and thanks to the cheering committee I had. Brooke is a wonderful motivator, makes me laugh and smile and is really nice to have there by my side! Thanks Brooke! & our new gal-pal was very nice to talk to and help motivate me too!

We hung out at Brooke's for a while, sore!!! It hit us both going to the bathroom. Deanna sent a nice text that it was nice to meet me and how awesome I did at the gym. It was so nice to have that support. I feel like a rock star today, I feel like I had a good work out and that I really powered through it!

I did however have a bad dinner, but hell, I deserved it :)
